Stain removal in Encinitas comes with a very local mix: board wax on a living room rug, tar on the entry mat after a session at Swami's, red wine from dinner in Leucadia and muddy paw prints from a dog who went straight from the beach to the couch. For small businesses along the 101, such as cafes and shops, the usual culprits are coffee and smoothie drips at entrances and around seating. Those tannin and fruit stains lift best when treated before they oxidize, so earlier appointments pay off. They did a very good job! First the woman on the phone Iris was very helpful and booked us for the very next morning. The workers were punctual and friendly and bilingual and did a great job. Surf wax is a soft oily paraffin, so we release it before any rinsing. Depending on the fiber, that is a solvent spotter or a controlled heat-and-blot method that transfers the wax into an absorbent towel. Once the wax is out, we clean and extract the area so no greasy residue remains to attract dirt.
