Some very old stains are permanent color changes, and we will point those out before we begin.

Rust appears when metal furniture legs, plant stands or old fixtures get damp and oxidize onto the carpet. It needs a rust remover that dissolves iron oxide. Bleach or general cleaners can make it darker. Fresh rust usually comes out well, while long-standing rust may leave a slight shadow.
As soon as possible. In hot, dry weather, wine dries quickly and the tannins bond to the fiber. Blot with cool water and a white towel, avoid salt or soap, and call us. Fresh wine stains are far easier to remove completely than ones that have dried in the heat.
