In most cases, light grout comes back dramatically once the soil, grease and soap are removed. Grout that has been stained by dyes, rust or bleach may not fully recover, and we will show you what to expect after the walk-through.
No. We use a clear penetrating sealer that does not tint the grout. It simply slows the absorption of spills and mop water, so the clean color lasts much longer. Clean and seal is $1.10 per square foot, only slightly more than cleaning alone.
Yes. Our solutions are eco-friendly, non-toxic and kid- and pet-safe, and the hot-water rinse removes them along with the soil. We ask that everyone stay off the floor until it is dry, and a little longer if the grout was sealed.
We do our best. We work Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm, and many Carmel Valley families book early morning or mid-day appointments so the floors are dry before the afternoon rush. Same-day or next-day service is sometimes available.
