Carpet cleaning Del Mar property owners ask for tends to come with a deadline. A guest checks out at ten, the next one arrives at four, and the bedroom carpet still shows sand, sunscreen and a spilled drink. They did a very good job! First the woman on the phone Iris was very helpful and booked us for the very next morning. The workers were punctual and friendly and bilingual and did a great job. In most cases, yes. A typical rental takes a few hours to clean depending on size, and carpet usually dries in 3–6 hours. We recommend booking the earliest morning slot available and running fans or air conditioning afterward. Call 858-688-2246 as early as possible during the summer and fair season, when our calendar fills quickly.
No strong smell is left behind. We use eco-friendly, non-toxic solutions and finish with a zero-residue rinse, so the carpet smells clean rather than heavily scented. If a guest has left pet or other odors, we treat the source with enzymes instead of covering it, which is what keeps the smell from coming back later.
Sunscreen and lotions leave oily marks that attract dirt and turn gray. We pre-treat those spots with a solution designed for oily soil, let it work for a few minutes and then rinse with hot-water extraction. Most sunscreen marks come out well. Some mineral sunscreens can leave a whitish tint that needs an extra pass.
During the busiest months, many rentals benefit from a cleaning every few weeks or between longer stays, with a thorough deep clean at the end of the season. Full-time homes near the beach do well with a professional cleaning every six months. Regular vacuuming by your housekeeper between visits makes a big difference.
