They did a very good job! First the woman on the phone Iris was very helpful and booked us for the very next morning. The workers were punctual and friendly and bilingual and did a great job. Yes. Barn odors come from organic material like sweat, manure and hay dust carried inside on clothing and boots. We pre-treat the affected areas and extract them with hot water, which removes the material instead of masking it. Keeping barn clothes and boots out of carpeted rooms prevents the smell from coming back.
Trail dust and clay bind to carpet fibers together with the oils in your dog's coat. Over time that mix gives off a stale, earthy smell and darkens traffic lanes. Hot-water extraction with pre-treatment removes it. We also check with UV light in case urine is contributing.
