Upholstery cleaning in Rancho Santa Fe calls for restraint as much as skill. Estate homes in The Covenant, Fairbanks Ranch and Santaluz are often furnished with custom upholstery in silk, velvet, mohair, fine linen and hand-woven fabrics, some chosen by designers and some inherited. We look at the weave and backing, test for shrinkage and dye transfer in a hidden spot and then decide between a low-moisture method, a solvent approach or, occasionally, recommending only vacuuming. If a fabric carries an X code, we explain that plainly rather than risk a costly piece.
Square footage is another consideration. Estates in The Bridges and Cielo may have a formal living room, a family room, a library and several bedrooms with upholstered seating, so a visit can include a dozen or more pieces. We ask for a list when you book, plan the order of rooms and allow for drying before furniture goes back into use. Leather sofas and chairs are evaluated on site before we recommend anything.
Equestrian properties bring fine arena and trail dust indoors, and it settles into textured fabrics and dulls color. Thorough dry soil removal before cleaning matters even more on delicate fibers, since grit becomes abrasive when wet. Standard pieces follow our published pricing, such as $129 for a sofa and $49 for an accent chair, and we confirm every price on site.

They did a very good job! First the woman on the phone Iris was very helpful and booked us for the very next morning. The workers were punctual and friendly and bilingual and did a great job. Yes. Send us a list of the pieces and rooms when you book, and we will plan the order and allow enough time. Larger visits may take most of a day. Pricing for standard pieces follows our published list, and custom or unusual pieces are quoted on site.
We use controlled moisture, work in the direction of the pile and brush it as it dries. Existing crush marks from use often improve with grooming, though deep, long-set marks may not disappear completely. We will show you what to expect before starting.
